This is to inform the General Public that His Excellency, Hon Henry Seriake Dickson, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State has graciously approved the Training of Bayelsans in the Aviation Sector for the Bayelsa State International Airport.
The various courses and Academic qualifications are outlined below:
1. AIR TRAFFIC SAFETY ELECTRONIC ENGINEERS- Equirements:
First Class or Second Class Upper in BSc Computer Engineering, BSc Electrical Electronic Engineering.
2. AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS
BSc Computer science, BSc Geology, BSc Geography, BSc Biology, BSc Physics, BSc Mathematics, BSc Chemistry.
3. AVIATION SECURITY
BSc in any field or WAEC with Credits.
4. FlIGHT DISPATCH COURSE
BSc Computer Science, BSc Computer Engineering, BSc Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, BSc all engineering courses except Agric Engineering.
5. FIRE FIGTHTERS
BSC Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,BSc Natural Science.
6. NAVIGATIONAL AID MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS
BSc Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
7. AIRCRAFT MARSHALS/RAMP ATTENDANTS
BSc in any field or WAEC with 5 Credits
8. RADIOTELEPHONY
BA English language or any field or WAEC with 5 Credits.
9. METEOLOGY (NIMET)
BSc Computer Science, Geography, Geology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.
Note:-
All Candidates must be Fluent in English Language and must NOT BE ABOVE 30 years of Age. The following documents should be attached to the Application:-
- Photocopies of Academic Credentials
- Local Government Identification
- NYSC Certificate/Exemption Letter
- Birth Certification/Sworn Age Declaration
- Detailed C.V.
All Applications Should be submitted to the Office of the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Productivity, 3rd Floor Secretariat Annex 5 on Road Safety Road,Ovom Yenagoa, on or before Friday 9th March, 2018.
Entrance exam and Interview will be conducted.
